Janet Alvarez González

Dr. Janet Alvarez Gonzalez is an award-winning marketer, investigative reporter, filmmaker and television and radio personality in America. Born in Puerto Rico, she began her career in the late 1980s as a director, producer, and political reporter for US television and radio networks PBS, NPR, FOX, and Jay Sears News Services. She interviewed personalities such as President Mikhail Gorbachev, Governor George Allen, Governor Douglas Wilder, and others.

In 2003 she wrote, directed, produced, and performed in the movie Latin Comedy, a social satire about how Hispanics were manipulated by the media, with the legendary Cuban comedian, Leopoldo Fernandez, known as “Tres Patines.”
